Rapid automated measurement of trace silica in boiler water and purified water treatment systems.

In order to efficiently drive turbines using high-temperature and high-pressure steam in power plants such as thermal and nuclear power plants, it is crucial to manage silica (SiO2), which can be a major cause of scaling. By installing about 5 μm cartridge filter in the upstream of the overflow tank, it is possible to prevent iron rust, etc. from entering the equipment.

  • Up to 2 filters can be built into the product.
  • If the optional filter is selected for the product of 3 or 4 measurement
    points, the filter is not built into the product but is delivered individually as a single filter.
  • If a step-down transformer is installed (power supply voltage is other
    than 100 V AC), a filter cannot be built into the product.
