  • Sodium hypochlorite and acetic acid are diluted and mixed to provide "active water". "Activated water" is sterilized water with an increased abundance ratio of hypochlorous acid (HCIO) molecules, which is an element of sterilizing power.
  • The built-in sensor monitors the effective chlorine concentration and pH in real time. It is possible to safely produce "active water" that always maintains a constant effective chlorine concentration.
Potential of the "Activated water"

Currently, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare recommends that the sodium hypochlorite dilute aqueous solution is effective for disinfecting goods against the new coronavirus, and is considered to have a sterilizing effect by HCIO molecules.

The active ingredient of active water is the same as sodium hypochlorite diluted water.
  • Hypochlorous acid exist in a form of CIO and HCIO which are both active chlorines
  • CIO mainly has cleaning effect and HCIO has effect of removing bacteria
  • The proportion of CIO and HCIO in hypochlorous acid changes depending on pH
  • Active water turns the pH in the water to mild acidity incresing the proportion of HCIO molecules that are highly effective for removing bacteria
