Description

ViscoClock is an automatic timing device specially used for measuring viscosity and relative viscosity by glass capillary method. It is easy to operate and can store data. It is a good helper in viscosity measurement experiments!

ViscoClock is equipped with an infrared detection device, which can accurately measure the time when the sample (quantitative constant temperature) flows through the glass capillary viscosity tube, so that visual observation and manual stopwatch timing have become a thing of the past. When measuring, first install the glass capillary viscosity tube on the ViscoClock, and then put it into the JULABO transparent viscosity bath to keep the temperature constant. After the temperature is constant, use a manual pump (pressure pump or suction pump) to lift the sample in the viscosity tube to the buffer bulb. Then after pressing the measurement switch, the measurement and timing are automatically completed. The bright display shows sample flow time, date, time, sample ID and viscotube ID.

Automatic measurement of sample transit time - ViscoClock is available with SIA Ubbelohde tubes, micro Ubbelohde tubes and micro Oswald tubes. The upper and lower sets of infrared liquid level detection devices can accurately complete the timing task. Compared with naked eye observation and manual stopwatch timing, ViscoClock automatic time measurement has high repeatability. Therefore, some viscosity measurement standards also allow the use of automatic viscosity measurement systems, which can shorten the flow time, save experiment time and improve work efficiency

Performance and material - ViscoClock can be used in the viscosity measurement environment of -40...+150 ℃, its bracket is made of high-quality PPA polymer, allowing the medium in the JULABO constant temperature bath: water, alcohol, ethylene glycol , paraffin oil, silicone oil, etc. The shell material of the electronic part is PP

Simple operation - when using Ubbelohde's viscosity tube to measure, the on-off of the emptying tube is controlled by a solenoid valve, and the sealing effect will be better compared with the previous mechanical seal.

Data storage and transmission - measurement results can be stored in USB flash memory, information including: date, time, sample ID, viscosity tube ID. Can be saved as PDF (non-editable) and csv (editable). In addition, it can also be directly connected to a printer (TZ 3863) and a computer.

Sample and Viscosity Tube Name Editing —Users can enter two digits as the sample and viscosity tube name numbers, and this information will be stored in the report together with the measurement date, time, and flow time.

J pair viscosity application - in order to ensure accurate J pair viscosity measurement accuracy, it is recommended to use standard samples to calibrate the entire measurement system before measurement. The constants of automatic calibration can be slightly different from manual calibration constants, which can ensure the elimination of system errors.

Relative Viscosity Applications - When measuring the relative viscosity of a sample, an uncalibrated viscosity tube can be selected, as the calibration constants will not be involved in the later calculations in this case.

Clear Viscosity Baths - ViscoClock can be used with clear viscosity baths such as JULABO brand DT-31A, DT-16G and DT-18V
