Orion is a U.S.-based developer and manufacturer of electrochemical analysis instruments. Originally part of Thermo Electron Corporation (founded in 1956), it now operates as "Thermo Scientific Orion" within the water analysis division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on the research and development of ion-selective electrodes and water quality monitoring instruments.
